Heated Seats Problem?

I have just began using my heated seats to my 2002 TL, as it is getting freakin cold here, (snow today).

Is it just me, or are the heaters to these seats weak. I can tell you my Accords heated seats get really hot, much more so than my TL.

I ask the people here, because I am taking my car into the dealer for a few minor warranty issues and wonder if this is normal.

Thanks for any advice that can be provided

Compared to my other car (330XI) our seat heater suck; yes they are very weak and take a long time to heat up... My BMW's are almost instant.

I think mine heat-up pretty quick. I have to set it on low very shortly or my a$$ becomes as hot as a 15yr old school girls.
Iam having problems with the drivers seat bottom. I noticed this last week & posted about it. The bottom does not heat but the back heats like normal. I have not had the chance to take it back to dealership yet. I am having some remodeling work done in my house. I will get seat fixed as soon as house work is done.

This is my first car with heated seats so I have nothing to compare it to but I agree that on low the seats don't seem to work at all. However I know they work because on high they toast the buns quite nicely. And what's really cool is I can leave it in the "on" position when the car is off so when I remote start it on those cold days, both the interior and the seat are warm when I finally get in.
