If it is going to be too much money for you to fix it, just get an aftermarket heater/massager until you can afford to fix yours.

my back only works on my TL..is it difficult to DIY..or whats the price of the element and /or the labor to get it fixed...

Mine was just done by the dealer last week under the Acura Care warranty (I'm now at 80K on my '00). Total bill was about $256 for a driver seat with no heat on bottom, and was completely covered.

Man I guess I'm lucky my heated seats function properly!

I LIVE with them on in the cold....at least with mine on! I LOOVVEEE havin' a toasty bottom
