Question headlining

Ok, another sunroof shade problem...
When I am driving with a closed sunroof but with open sunshade I always hear some kind of rattle, clicking sound from the sun shade. I can hear it when it opens up to the end. You know when you open it to the full end you can hear a "click" probably some kind of a plastic stopper that keeps the sunshade locked. I think this stopper is too loose and causing all this noises.
I decided to fix it by myself (the dealer told me to wait 3 weeks for next available app.) Do you know if it a big pain in a.. to take of the headlining and how can I do that???
I will appreciate some pictures if you have any...
Thanks.

I've had the headliner down. Its not too bad to do, you just have to remove the sun visors, the lighting, the grab handles, and the side panels next to the rear windows. There is also a plastic screw clip near the rear window if i remember correctly. What you have to watch out for as you are taking it down is to be sure NOT to bend the headliner in any way. Its made out of a compressed fiber material and it will forever show ANY creases that occur from over bending the material. To prevent bending it, you have to take you time, and just be careful. Total time to take it down and out is probably under 20 min if you know what you are doing, so figure on 40 min if you are doing it for the first time.

same problem

I have had the same problems with the rattling of the sunroof sun shade. My dealer has removed the headliner and improved the rattling only to have it return within 1 week.

Do you have to remove the rear seats to remove the rear side panels?
