headlights will not adjust

I tried to adjust my headlights to go up both on the passenger side and driver side but neither headlight will go up or down regardless of how many times I turn the gear with the screwdriver. what should i do?

threads could be stripped. you could take the headlight apart to see if you can replace that, follow the instruction on the blackout headlight diy to open them up and seal them backup. otherwise there isnt much you can do. you can try unbolting the headlights and get a slight adjustment out of them, but its not going be much.

holding the tool at an angle so its engaging in the teeth?
you are seeing the middle gear move as you turn the screwdriver?

It can take what feels like dozens of turns, thats why I say to pull up to a wall, mark the point where the light is brightest, so you can tell how much its come up
A little on the wall is a lot at 100 feet

try turning the assembly with the 10mm bolt head-- holding the main gear on

never seen one stripped so you couldnt use + screwdriver in the upper gears teeth

ck the mounting bolts- if the car was ever in a body shop,,, there is a little room to play there

i saw the middle gear turn and i also used a 10mm to turn the assembly but still nothing. The teeth aren't stripped, i think something inside of the housing is not working properly to adjust the housing. The mounts on the car is fine as well. Maybe i should open up the headlights to see what is wrong with insides?

yes i actually did fix the problem, everything is aligned now. i had to turn the bolt on the top left hand side where the signal was and there was a cap covering it. i cant adjust the headlight up or down without removing it from the car.
