You guys wouldnt believe the night i'm having. I witnessed 2 perps stealing headlights off a 2002 Maxima. Call the cops, they caught one perp and the other stupid perp left his car in my driveway.( Acura Integra )

Tell me about it, At least park it farther from the crime scene........ They police finally got that integra towed. The police said the car came up owned with the same last name of the perp that got caught..

The second perp got away... He tried to take off with the car, i saw him down the block. Lucky for me the smokaholic, when out for a smoke.

I got a tough day ahead of me. They gonna call me for Q&A. There goes me and my crime fighting days. Lucky it wasnt my car, i would have beaten them senseless. Probably would've sat in jail for the night.

mikelee223...what part of NYC was this. I'm in queens and its been awhile since headlight thieves have been around. They mostly steal the Maxima lights not the Ac's.

 

I'm in Brooklyn(Bay Ridge). It seems like the Maxima's are targets on my block.

A couple years ago, I think the hot items were the rims. Someone robbed my neighbor's rims.

They really gotta trim some of the trees on my block. It seems that the trees block the light from the street lamp. Which makes any cars a easy target.

Well, I always park my car in well lit areas.

 

I know, I'm worried about that. But there were some other people walking down the block. But the dumbass pull the lights as someone was walking down.

 

 

yep, i live in queens, last year, a jetta down my block had nice afterarket rims which was stolen and the perps left a "thank you" note on the windsheild! LOLOL

 

I have an Idea......make a timer attached to explosives in the head lights. When the lights are stolen from the car, the timer goes off and head lights explod 5 minutes later.... ...maybe than low lifes will stop stealing head lights.

 

I got one jackass off the road, they towed his car.

My friend the cop said that he'll never get his integra back. (They keep the evidences.) So no need for him to retrofit our HIDs in his car. Unless he gets another to retrofit.

 

man..i got my stolen about 2 years ago...whenever i see friggin other honda/accs that dont come with stand hid..i get very suspicious..damn bastards..mostly guys with civics and integras have our TL lights in there..i wanna smash their shit up..

There can be another way. Just like in the movies (SPEED). The scene with the bag of money, and an ink bomb explodes in the guys face. Retrofit that in our cars, see who doesnt recognize those HID theives.

Set it just enough for thieves to pull on the corners and from the cracks of the hood out comes the ink in his eyes. The Ink will be real easy to clean off the cars finish anyways.

i already had my maxima stolen, I will never park on the street overnight, garage the car only.

its crazy in NYC, those bastards steal our headlights, then we see crappy american cars with exact hid as hours blinding us.

 

I know one was a hispanic dude, the other dude was black, but he had the last name of rivera.(They were definitely in the wrong neighborhood, trying to jack lights.)

 

Its not really parking in the street, it has to be a well lit area. This Maxima was in a shaded area of the street.

My police friend said he's never getting back his car, they keeping it as evidence. The city will probably take it and auction it. Since it was used for a crime.

They are so stupid. They risk their car for a $300 set of HID, that they can buy.
