So sorry to hear about your incident. Ggggrrrrrrr..makes me mad everytime I hear about stolen HIDs...damn fucking theives..hope they rot in hell.

As for preventing it from happening again, try to park your car indoors..and if you cannot do this..try putting a car cover on at night.

Damn, which part in Brooklyn did it happen? Park it in a garage if you can or put some more shock senors on? It might help a bit.

Add on shock sensors (if possible) Try and park in well lit areas...make sure you have an alarm and try and see if you can add a bracket to the headlights to bolt them down to the frame.

Even with the bracket Idea, wont it be too late, by then they would have caused enough damge to your hood and surrounding areas??

Make the shock sensors really sensitive so that even if cars bump you while parking it goes off. I was thinking about adding a few more shock sensors if I figure out how.

wold it be illegal to have an electrically charged plate behind your headlight so when they go to pry it out with a crow bar it would give them a shock?

Sleep in ur car with a shotgun... F'n theives, die!!!!

They just caught a bunch of teens in my town stealing Maxima lights. They found something like 7 assemblies at the kids house. After they arrested all 5, there have been no reported thefts of headlights since...

I dont think anyone would do that for you, but in other countries they have security devices such as a sharp large blade that swings from under the side of the car right above the ankle, sort of like scissors. They also have security devices such as liquid fire sprayed from the side of the car. I would like to have both please. First chop off their ankles, and when they are writhing on the ground spray them with some fire and drive away taking pics for the kiddies
