I Have A Question, Which Was Probably Discussed Before. I Hope This Never Happens To Me, If Your Headlights Are Stolen From Your Car, Does The Insurance Company Pays To Get It Replaced? And How Much To Replace Them? And Is There A Way To Prevent The Headlights From Being Stolen? Thanks A Lot Guys!!

 

It Depends What Kind Of Insurance You Have But Is There Any Reason To Type Like This???

 

The Insurance company does pay if you have full coverage minus your deductible. You can cut a deal with the body-shop to cover the deductible if it is $500. or less besause the amount of damage is usually high. From what I have seen between $3-$5 grand. Most cars need new headlight housings, bulbs, ballasts, hood, front fenders and bumper cover. The cars I have seen have had a cut in the hood above each headlight which is tough to repair and easier to replace. Also the corners of both fenders were pushed in with a crow-bar or something and the bumper cover was literally ripped off from both sides. Add paint and misc. fees and tax and you might be over $5.

 

and no, there is no 100% way of preventing it from being stolen. garage is the most common way, or you could hide outside in a bush w/ a shotgun.

i personally sleep right next to my crowbar. my car is just right outside my room and im easily awake by noise. so.. when the time comes... then then then :smitty: and he'll be first in line to see <-- he's laughing cause i just beat the out of him.

if ur in a neighbor hood where headlights are getting stolen on the regular...dont get the car...if u already have a tl....GOOD LUCK!...i live in brooklyn, mine were stolen twice!
