Headlight question
Headlight question
hi all,
my left headlight just went out and i'm going to place an order for a new bulb tomorrow
and i was just wondering if there is a regular halogen bulb that i can use for low beam
until the HID bulb arrives without doing any modification to the headlight assembly or
the wiring. i drive around alot at night and i dun wanna get a ticket for a broken headlight.
Any input would be greatly appreciated. thanx

I don't think the bulbs are interchangable. But if you drive at night with your fog lights on that should get you out of getting a ticket. You'll still have a light on that side just not in the same place.
Just like other members said, they're not interchangerable.
I don't think it's good idea to drive with just fog lights on since it's illegal in some states and I don't think you can turn on just high beam without turning low beam on.
BTW, if you planning to get 6000K bulbs, I can hook you up with Philips 6000K D2R or D2S for 230 including shipping.
