headlight problem 2003 tl
Im wanting to replace my light because the ones I have now are really dim. I believe my car was previously in a wreck so whoever replaced them only put in some poor looking wire connected by duck tape to regular bulbs. I already have the 6000k kaixen bulbs I bought on the site along time ago and I just need to know what else I need. Is it just a ballast and igniter?
will something like this work?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/880-881-890-...item3f11d0de23
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-x-35W-XENO...item4ab270d75e
do I need to get an igniter with that?
yeah noob question.....responses is appreciated and thanks in advance

What kind of Kaixen bulbs are you using if you're looking at those ballasts? Those are AMP connectors, NOT D2R/D2S.
Those ballasts will work but then you will need an AMP to D2R/D2S adapter.
You will not need another igniter.

our sponsor www.hidextra.com has compact size replacement ballast and ignitors for us
in `kit/package deal` form-- with 2 new bulbs, is only $59 !!! (look for coupons online for 10% off)
or you can buy just the 2 ballast and 2 `connector wire` those wires go from ballast to bulb and contain the ignitor inline
but for the few dollars differance, I would get the full kit and have spare bulbs
they are good bulbs- and I ran kaixen 6k for the last 4 years
At some point you will suffer moisture in the housing lens = that blows the ballast and ignitor..put in the waterproof kit now and never worry

But to 01tl, if I buy the replacements you are talking about, will that be all I need? this is how it currently looks

are those your cars pics or same situation?
the `kit` from hidextra has all you need, 2 ballast and 2 ignitor/capacitor wires-- referred to as connector wires on the website, and 2 bulbs,,I suggest 5000k
You will need a few wire connectors or solder them but its very easy
the only option- and you may want this based on current wiring mess
is get 1 relay kit $16, that will run all new power from batt to lights
with its own fuse and relay
dont forget to look for their discount code on site main page, on online search for them
