headlight jackin

Well after reading it in here and hearing stories in the past, it unfortunately happened to me. So I leave work at midnight and head over to my gurlz apt in boston on commonwealth ave (near fenway)...park my car in a metered spot on commonwealth (fairly busy street). And left her place around 8ish to head over to the gym and find my headlights have been removed. To make matters worse I am suppose to be trading my '01 TL in for a '02 TL type s in a few days. So I am now at the mercy of the insurance company and auto body shop to get my car fixed ASAP. Has this occured to anyone else in the massachusetts area? People nowadays are really fucked up and have no respect for others property.

This did not happen to me, but back in october, i was near the fenway area, and had parked my car off of Yawky Way, and there was a TL across the street from me as well, and when i returned to my car later on that night around 2 am, i noticed that the lights of the TL across the street were jacked, luckly mine were not, i was so relieved...

good luck with with the process though...

I know the thought has crossed my mind, but than I am sure there are ppl who has not happened to and they were able to enjoy their TL. Now besides adding an alarm with extra sensors on the hood, what else can I do to kinda make my car more unattractive to theifs? I heard about hood locks in other thread...how do those work? And where can I find them? Are there any other devices that I can put on? Thanks for your help guys.

Sorry to hear that man, that is not what I want to be hearing....I am constantly out in the boston area at night and only a couple months ago someone jacked my friends S4 lights in the theater district. I'm gonna be so pissed if that happens to me.

forget about hoodlocks...they dont do a damn thing to stop thieves....not much you can do..i have the prestige alarm w/shock-motion sensor and a pager, plus i park in a driveway with a chainlock and barbed-wire and i still dont feel safe! some nights i feel like parking on the streets and sleep in the car just to catch one of those bastards!
