I have an 03 tl. My passenger side headlight was out, replaced the bulb, ballast, still out. Anyone have any ideas as to what it could be?

Could be a ballast as well.

 

Checked all fuses, but took the "new" ballast out to send back to seller. Going to try a different one. Just wasn't sure if these cars were prone to wiring issues or what. Thanks for the help.

Most on here go aftermarket when the problem of one light works sometimes- have to flick switch to make it come on again etc

get a `kit` that has 2 new modern ballast and ignitors- with needed connector wire to bulbs and 2 nice bulbs
suggest you stay at 35 watt ballast (stock size) and 5000k bulb color for close to stock

you can pay from $ 70 -200 depending on maker, but its all better than 15 year old parts and technology of the original system

no extra relay needed since we have hid already- just replacing the worn parts in total- hid systems are picky about volts amps and resistance- best to buy a package thats made to work together
