if anyone has any info on this part i would appreciate it. i need a driver side headlight ballast. mine went out and it is very expensive

if you're in need of a ballast - which i did and luckily found - the best bet would be none other than ebay. I found mines for 240 shipped that included the ballast, igniter, and a bulb brand new. I almost won a whole driver side headlight with complete ballast n bulb set that somebody else beat me at for 175. So, just continue looking on the site, the ballast's price from dealerships are steep.
