Question headlight blew out

my car is a year and a month old. i have about 16000 miles and my headlight blew out. has anyone had similar problems w/ their tl? eventhough headlights aren't covered under warranty, do you think the dealership will anyway? from what i understand, h.i.d. lights are supposed to have 10 times the life span compared to a regular halogen bulb

And they cost like four times as much too. Let us know what dealer says.

Should be a dealer replaced item. No question about it.

How the hell did that happened? The HID is supposed to last much longer than regular bulbs. Check your lights, the connection might be loose because when I got my front cleared, my right HID wasn't working. So I told the guy and he said it was a loose connection. He popped it back in and it worked. This should solve your problem unless you got a defective HID to begin with.
Let me know if it works

i just had my right hid looked at yesterday as it seems to be taking on a green/yellow hue. they replaced the bulb and still the same. so they are ordering a whole headlight assy. they told me the HID lightbulb is 170.00! ouch!

well i just got back from the dealership, and of course the headlight worked. they could not get the light to shut off. so now i have to wait till the light shuts again, and bring it in. if they did replace my headlight, they said it would be warrantied just to let you guys know. im sure its just a loose wire, but they did nothing about it. they didnt even wash my car. oh well i guess ill just have to drive my salt-covered "BA-DITTLE"
