Hey guys, I have around $750 right now.

I was about to get the TEIN Basic Coilovers. But now I am having second thoughts. I really wanted to make my car sound deeper, especially at idle. The CAI on my car isn't really noticeable until i pass 4.5k rpm.

My question is this : Will getting headers really make that big of a difference sound wise? I read that hp gain was like 15-30 whp. Is that bull ****? I'm thinking headers at most will give 15whp right?

But if headers really produce a deeper sound at idle and those claimed hp ratings, where can I find Stone Racing headers?

 

I've got the Comptechs. The HP gains are real and add pull to the top end (above 4000rpm). Sound is not very noticable at all. I think it's due to the heavy gauge tubing that is used.

 

So should i go for exhaust if i want deeper sound? How much would a typical exhaust system run?

For just mufflers?
For whole cat system?

 

if u want a deep idle sound, ur gonna need exhausts like magnaflow, not too loud nor too soft, headers are for performance only, u get minimumal sound

 

how much will be a good price on magnaflow cat exhaust versus just a pair of magnaflow mufflers?

how are the hks superdraggers compared to magnaflow?
