Hi ya'll,

I just got some OBX headers from dailod, and I noticed that the small pieces (the part with three tubes) have a lot of soot in them.

I'm must be in denial, but did he send me USED headers??? :wow:

If so, what should I do to clean them out before install?

I'm sure they'll get soot in them when I get them installed, but I want them to be clean at the beginning!

dont bother cleaning it, they should have some soot in them from the welding that takes place, but as long as the steel isnt discolored your fine...

yeah, I got my headers from him as well and they fit just fine and were in tip top condition..Trust me it is just from the welding...You need not worry about cleaning them..They'll eventually get blown out with the exhaust gases..No worries man, just hook them up and enjoy!
