Question Head Room

I'm new to this board. I just bought a new '03 TL base non-navi last saturday. Love the car! However, the head room could be a little better, as you all know. I noticed that the drivers seat sits pretty high, so if I could lower the seat by an inch or so, the car would be close to perfect!

If you push down on the center of the long fore/aft power seat switch, the entire seat will lower. Not sure exactly how low it goes, but at 6'7" it makes all the difference in the world.

I agree. I'm only 5'9" and I had a little difficulty getting the seat adjusted just right. Give it a couple of weeks and you'll get it figured out.

P.S. Welcome to the board!

Agreed. I'm 6'4" and I wish there was an inch or two more of headroom. As much as I love the moonroof, I'd gladly give it up (and keep the rest of the car the same) to gain that extra space. I definitely had to start sitting more reclined in this car than in others, but I'm used to it now and it doesn't bother me much any more.

Thanks to y'all. This car is just so sweet. Think about the throttle at 55mph, and you're doing 80 before you know it! ANd the 5th gear yields 2000 rpm at 70mph. Can't wait to take her out for a road trip.
