Have a problem on startup with Maintence Required light

Have a problem on startup with Maintence Required light

Anyone else have this problem .. well i dont know if its a problem or not butttt

when i turn the car on the Maintancence erquired light flashes in the bottom left hand corner for about 8-10 seconds after the cars been started up... i dont know if something wrong or if i just hav ent noticed it before .. or if its something to not worry about (ie the line that connects the light is dirty ... idk lol)

man with 220 posts, you should know how to search by now.

That light means nothing, all it is, the dealership is trying to remind you to come to them for an oil change or whatever, so they can steal some money from you.

Hold the Select and Reset buttons, and start the car....keep on holding both buttons until the Maintenance light dissappears.

its a light thats supposed to be reset at every oil change. it goes off close to 7500 miles letting you know that its time to change your oil (yes 7500 miles. something else the manual would tell you too!)

oh and that button trick only led to changing the temperature status in intervals of one degree

It tells you in the manual how to reset the light, just follow the directions, works like a charm, I do it all the time
