Has anyone raced an E36 M3 97?

Has anyone ever raced an E36 M3 1997? I have a friend of mine who has an AUTOMATIC (wouldn't mess w/ a standard) and wants to race me. Who do you think will win.. those suckers are fast. Forget about HP specs (240) cuz those M3 engines are extremely powerful. I also can't find good 0-60 numbers as everyone gives a diff figure. I would never race one on very curvy roads as all of us now that they handle phenomenally. Especially the M3....

Not sure about the automatics, but two of my friends have them in stick (one 97, one 98 but im sure their the same engine). Both my friends ran a 14.5 and that was stock. I always wanted to race them and I had the chance to many times, and I lost all the time

I have a TL-S. Best bet to beat them is with headers and intake.
