Has anyone hit 200k miles?

Just wondering if anyone has hit 200k miles yet. Or, who has the most miles at this time? Modded?

I bought my 2002 TLS brand new on 3/27/02 and currently have 54,300 miles.

On my 95 accord 191000 miles, and still going strong, unbelievable the quality of Honda, will have to see how my 2003 TLS stacks up.

Yea, the way I figure it, what's the point of NOT driving the crap out of the car? A car that's 10 years old with 100k miles is still pretty much as worthless as a 10 year old car with 200k miles.

I guess the low mileage thing is for people who don't like driving their cars to the ground.

I'm with fsttyms1 on this one. I plan on driving my car to the ground.

My philosophy is, it makes me work so I am gonna make it work. ( that is if you are paying for it) Plus it is so damn fun to drive. When it wears out get something else!!

My 1996 Accord has 187,000 miles and it's still going strong. My TLS is trying to follow the same path. I've made it to 35,000 miles so far.

Man, we had a 86 Prelude. Those things were solid and built like bricks. Sorry to hear your story though Man I still miss my Prelude.

Here I am....178,500 miles (salesrep) '00 TL.......still perfect and RETIRED from sales use back in NOVEMBER. Otherwise it would have 199,000 miles (now I use a van to carry more stuff). Engine is perfect in every way, on synthetic since 10K miles and changed every 6K miles or so.

I live in Houston. There is practically no good public transportation, and bunch of suburban communities which are all sprawled out all over the place.

We do have some nice freeways (10 lanes wide with an HOV in the middle for a total of 11 lanes) though.

high occupancy vehicle-lanes made for cars with more than 2 ppl.

i have about 52000 on my 00tl. i got it with 37 this past october. put on about 15000 in 8 months.

ma uncle used to have a black 89 accord. he drove it 100 miles to work 5 times a week almost. when it got stolen it had 306000 miles on it and this was after he would take the fuse outta the dash board so it wouldnt register some miles. it was still running like a horse tho. i remember cruising at 100 mph on NY thruway.

Haha, I should probably clarify...10 lanes, 5 on each side. Sometimes 6.

HOV means "High occupancy vehicles." and basically is reserved for people who carpool (2+ people, and sometime 3+ people per car depending on the freeway) during rush hour times going inbound or outbound from Downtown. HOV is a single lane, and in the morning, it gets used to go inbound, and in the afternoon it's used for people to go outbound from Downtown.

HAHAH u had me there for a second thas cool though, there are a few freeways over here that are similar. we have a carpool lane that is strictly for carpools between like M-F 6am-10 pm and 3pm-7pm. the rest of the times anyone can use the lanes. It bugz me when people cheat and use the lanes anyway when there's only the driver in the car
