I have noticed a diffrence in mine as well. Maybe it's just broken in and shifts smoother. I really notice it at the 1st to second gear shift, it seems to lull. I had them check it at the 15K service and they said it spec. I will have them check it everytime I go in for service. This way I can go after them if something happens after warranty. I saw a post where someone said to change the tranny fluid earlier than recommended. I may have this done as well, just to reinforce my position with Acura. I imagine a rebuild on this tranny would cost in the neighborhood of 2 to 2.5K.

When my car shifts into 2nd and 3rd, the shifts are very noticable. Sometimes there is even a pause which I have never noticed. I also heard that we should change our tranny fluid more often than told coz we do not have a transmission fluid filter.

little o/t but a buddy of mine works at a honda dealer and says in the past month they have replaced about 10 v6 trannies 98-00
