Question Hard Starting 2.5

Anyone heard of a fix for hard starting on a 2.5? I heard the old 2.5 Vigors had the same deal.

It cranks a while before starting, like its not getting fuel or spark right away.

I've checked a few places for parts, but didnt really dive into it. Not really interested in doing much beyond the intake and exhaust (got a miata that eats all my mod money). Did you use 96-98 Accord intake/exhaust? Have you found shocks? Those are impossible to find.

It happen on my 96 2.5 TL before, all I did was re-gap the spark plug and it fix the problem.

mine did that when it was wet, it turns out that i had a cracked distibutor cap and one of my plug wires was bad...i used a universal fit HKS powerflow...200 mm with a 80 or 90 mm coupler pipe i think...and a sebring universal exhaust...

with some modifications by a good body shop an accord body kit or an inspire body kit will fit...but they need a lot of modification....

Does the hard starting happen when the car interior is warm, or hot. Also, does the problem always happen, or during certain occations, then start fine at other times? One classic Honda/Acura problem is the main fuel injection relay. Hopefully it is as simple as that for you in this case.
