If you can't find the part numbers, you can just print the pictures from post #3 of this thread and bring it to the Acura dealer; that's what I did

I just printed the pictures above and faxed them to Acura. They called me back with a quote. I don't have part numbers.

Get the part numbers and order them from http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org

Way better prices than your local dealer will have

I found a guy on ebay that has a bunch of parts for a 03 CL-S 6speed and I bought the handbrake lever, and the cup holder, so I have everything I need. But when I was lining everything up I realised that the cables are short, do I need new ones, or do I have to re-locate them?

Also I drilled out the holes, and the one on the back right, where I have the bolt through, doesn't have a nut welded on the bottom, so I will have to get underneath and hold the nut and have someone tighten the bolt from the top...

u need to remove the two 10mm bolts that hold the brake lines and leave them out. I dont think u can bolt the lines down anymore.

so I'm guessing that I need to find out where they line up best and drill it out and hope there's a nut underneath...

I'm not sure exactly what part number 9 is, but I don't have anything like that, but none of the mounting holes are drilled out, there are 6 holes iirc, and all but the 2 are filled/plugged

part #9 is like kinda a spacer/mouting hole mover foward, so you cables can reach then (and i don't see why nobody recommends it ethier )

^^I knew which part it was in the picture, I'll have to check how much that costs from the dealer, or one of the online parts retailers; since I won't work on it at all untill next year...

when you cut away this stuff, did you end up cutting almost the whole thing up? i find the ventilation piping is in the way of getting this cupholder to pop in.

yeah, that's what i ended up doing. so everything lines up right. need to get me a good drill tommorow so i can finish drilling mounting holes and she's ready to be closed up.

like i said in my swap thread, my engine and tranny are ready to be picked up, so i'll have those on monday. tune up time, then i'll be waiting on my shifter kit, (i ordered it weeks ago, i guess it's on backorder) and i can't seem to find a junk yard that has brake pedals and clutch pedals. i'm sure i'm not looking hard enough, i'll light a fire in my ass once things start coming together. doing this handbrake mod gave me a chance to see where the ECU is i'll be using cl-s6 ecu

as far as aesthetics go it's in, is it functional? not yet, i need to drill some holes to bolt some things down (just got a drill last night) and i need an extra hand to holt the nuts still under the car while i torque the bolts up top.

what have you guys who have done the conversion done with the hole that is behind the handbrake? it looks like it's about the size of the seatheater switch, what was it on the CL? just trying to think of something i can do with that...

When its functional you're gonna lose your brake pedal functions?

I want to do this but i dont wanna lose that function.. is there anyway i can hook the brake lever up to the emergency brake? *The far left small one*

No, you dont loose brake pedal function. You REMOVE the Parking Brake pedal (which has NOTHING to do with the brake pedal, the one next to the gas pedal or how the brakes function) and the Hand Brake replaces it.
