had a little extra time today so.....

i decided to degrease and condition my engine... got bored and decided to clean inside my intake manifold too lol








also took the time to paint my air filter housing. (ordered it in black and red but wound up with an ugly highlighter yellow color) 1st pic shows the ugly yellow.

believe me thats only after a few good hours of cleaning. i park in a nasty gravel/dirt lot EVERYDAY it sucks...

could you tell me where you got your weapon r intake from? i didnt know they made them for the 2G TLs.

but whats under your filter? did you leave the resonator?

i got my weaponR off ebay for under $100 (probably why they sent me yellow)

and define resonator? i romoved the entire stock air box when i installed the intake.

you dont see the piping under your intake filter? thats the resonator that quiets down the stock intake. its a box

the box was removed. the snorkel like thing is still down there if thats what your talking about

i was thinking of doing so when i was in there yesterday but im worried about water. does it even help? and whats the bene of removing it?

water is not going to get that high unless you drive your car into a lake lol

you might get some more air from the fender area, it probably wont do much but i think it would look nicer if it wasnt there

Just leave the resonator there so it'll act as if your intake is a cold air one.
