Ok. my friend owns them both. His auto S4 is lowered with H&R coilovers and got 19's. And his 2001 manual GSR is stock except CAI

Both races were conducted at a stop light with no cars around whatsoever. Against the S4, my TCS was ON cuz I wanted to have some gripping. The light turned green, he instantly jumped on me for almost a car lenth cuz FWD really sucks compared to his AWD. At around 40 mph I was 1 car length behind him. We raced until 80 and I was still 1 car length behind him. I am sure if I had to shift to the 4th gear it would have been over. Not so bad to run against a S4, especially i had another passenger with me and my friend was alone.

Against his GSR...I had a bad start to begin with... I was even with him to around 15 mph and I was around 1/2 car length in front of him. At around 60 mph I was 1 car length before him, and that's where we stopped.

we are safe drivers so we don't want to race to fast. LOL

yes, there is a 01 gsr. the rsx came out and the integra disappeared for the 02 model year.

Sounds like a great time.

Next time try running him from a 30 or 50 punch. See what kind of power he has at those points. I'm betting that you'll hang with him and may even pull him at those speeds.
