Not sure if there is a difference but for my 2003 TL-S..I ordered H&R Sport springs part#50103

They fit great with no problems.

The 50103 were the later designed springs. The 51858 were originally from the accord and in the tl would cause the rear to sag a little lower. The 103s where a slightly stiffer rate for the heavier TL. Both will fit, but i would use the 50103 myself (which i did on my 2000)

Oh and the search button would have answered this right away

H&R Lists both as Sport Spring with the same drop (1.75" F / 1/5" R)

51818 for the '99 - '01 TL.

50103 is listed for the '02 - '03 TL.

Correct. They are the same spring though other than a slight rate change (meaning either will work on any of the years). The 51818 tended to sag slightly more in the rear with some time and settling.

nice, looks like they answered that question pretty fast.

Interesting, so same spring, with slightly different spring rate for the rear.

Anybody know how much more they drop the TL's rear to about?

perhaps 1.75" all around once settled?

it will make the car sit uneven. Get the 50103s it will make the car sit level.

Get the 50103 for all TL years 99-03..period! Type S or not, just get 50103 and you will be set. I got mine back in 2004...they are still riding perfect and the car is has no sagging at all, still has the very slight rake (car is slightly lower in the front and rises toward the rear, I love it)

You can see the slight "rake" effect here on my car

I've had 51818's for three years now, and no sagging in the rear. I don't have an aftermarket system though, and keep my trunk empty 99% of the time.

Hey I was thinking of getting the H&R sports springs for $150 flat. Would my stock shocks be okay or should I upgrade them as well? If so to what?

Thanks,
SS

Stock shocks are ok, but you can save some cash and time down the road by changing your struts now for some bilsteins since you have to take it all apart to put the springs in anyway
