gs400 vs TLs
hey guys. i know that the TLs could easily take the gs300. but i was wondering about the gs400. a buddy of mine.. who by the way i think just spent too much money. i was looking at some sites... and it posts the gs400 0-60 very close or the same as the TLs. id love nothing more than to beat his ass or atleast not get killed and show that my car that cost almost 20k less would kill it.

Get some practice at taking off from a stop. Figure out where your cars launches best. RPMs, brake pressure, all that. (tires, matter, too. stocks slip too much. you want minimal slip) If you can get a good launch, you might be able to hang or beat his GS4. Is his a stick, or that manual thing? If you guys are rolling at decide to race, the torque of the V8 will punish you. Bye, bye.

Can someone say beaten to death???
At higher speeds that V* torque will walk away. Down low with I/H mods you can sorta keep up. You may get 300hp with a CAI, headers, pulleys etc, but those mods wont bump the torque up to anywhere near 310lb/ft.
Search button please. This topic has been covered and flamed at length in the past.
