Does any one think TL-S can take on GS400 If it was modified W/
Comptech Headers, Exhaust and Intake? On Comptech web site, if you add Headers and Exhaust on CL-S produced over 30HP compare to stock. That would make the car HP at 290. I wonder if it would add same amount of HP on TL-S? This would make the HP on TL-S 290 HP which is very close to GS 400 which is at 300HP

 

First of all, HP is not an indicator of who's faster. There are too many other factors that come in to play.

That said, a stock TLS has a good chance at beating a GS400 . . depending on the driver, each cars condition and other variables.

The numbers I know of for the GS are as follows:

0-60 6.2
1/4 mile 14.7
speed at 1/4 97MPH

The numbers I know of for the TLS are as follows:

0-60 6.2
1/4 mile 14.8
speed at 1/4 96MPH

So while the GS400 is technically a faster car, all the variables put this match up for grabs. Unless the TLS' mods are worth more than a 1/2 second I say it's too close to call.

But it should be a great race assuming both drives and cars are up to it.

I believed the GS400 times are:
0-60 = under 6 secs
1/4 = low-to-mid 14s

BTW, I am pretty sure that guy 1sicklex will put in his .2
He's the know-it-all guy from clublexus.

 

under 115mph may be but not after that.

BeatYaAll has a cl-s w/ i/h/e v-afc and he beats a gs400 easily. so since the tl-s and cl-s are simalar I assume yes. as long as the gs is stock.
