gs300?

I have a 99 tl-p. My friend has a gs300. Both stock. Think i can take him? It's gonna be close as heck i think...he's heavier..but he's got a 5speed auto instead of my 4speed. Grrr..

should be able to take him, but it'll be pretty close. Turn off your TCS, powerbrake it at the start, and use SS.

You should have no problems cause I have raced a few gs300s when I was stock and I always beat them.

BTW, I have a 99 TL also.

regardless of the hp (they're close anyway), you're giong to beat him. The GS300 isnt fast at all...its only the 400/430 that can get somewhat scary. The TL is fast as it is. If you want to count numbers, just think of having .2 more liters than him

The tl is faster. I have a 98 gs300 and my brother has a 00 tl. I used to have a 99 tl and a 02 tl type s . My 99 felt faster but not as secure as the gs.

The gs is heavier than the tl . The 98 gs has 220 hp . Honestly the gs will beat the tl past 110 to 115.
