Exclamation Group Buy: Pioneer AVIC Z1 w/ Bluetooth Adapter + iPod Adapter $1683 shipped

I am in contact with a seller who's offering me the Pioneer AVIC Z1 with the Bluetooth Adapter and the iPod Adapter AND free installation equipment for $1683 shipped

All this stuff is BRAND NEW sealed in the box, and NOT refurbished.

We need ATLEAST 5 people to participate inorder to get that price.

If you have any general questions, post here and I'll answer tham ASAP.

If you have a specific question, then please PM me

About the warranty issue, I just got in touch with my seller, and he said that they offer you the same warranty that pioneer offers, a 100% no questions asked warranty. which I think is for two years.
Note by mod Ron A: You can communicate with gamezilla by PM and get the sellers name and check this out if you are concerned about it.

Once we get enough people, I will let you all know how to place the order.

Please post only general questions. Gamezilla cannot post any specifics in this thread about where he is getting these, so if you want to find out more send a PM to Gamezilla.

Posting this thread in this forum has been discussed with and approved by Astroboy.

If my fellow mods will approve, I would like to leave this thread here for a day to get it started and then I will move it to the Navi subforum.

ok....there's been 50+ people who read this thread and not even 1 of them bothered to post something or pm me?

Come on people, this is a VERY good deal here, the Z1 alone retails for $2200, but here you're getting the Z1 + iPod Adapter + Bluetooth Adapter + Installation Equipment all Brand New for $1683 shipped.

Yeah, and I'd say that's 50+ people (including me) who don't want to spend $1683 for this product.

Maybe the next 50 people will feel differently....

As the proud owner of a Z1 with blue tooth and XM w/NAVTraffic, I can attest it is one heck of a unit. But Gamezilla, you need to beware of something very important with this buy. If your dealer is not approved by Pioneer, there is ZERO factory warranty!! ZIP!! They will not honor it and they say that very clearly in their warranty guide. I would double check all that before you get some fellow members here in a bad situation.

By the way, most internet dealers are not approved. Some are (Crutchfield for example) but most aren't.

Looks like a great price, if I was in the market for a NAV/DVD/CD/MP3/XM unit.

I hope you get enough people for the deal.

Helps when info and pics are posted right off the bat so people know what they're being charged 2k for.

I don't know how else to say this without sounding too inflammatory, but why would you post this in the TL forum?

We all have BT, and those wanting Navi already have it...which leads to this basically being an iPod adapter.

It might be a good price, but you should probably get to know your target audience a bit better

IS THIS THE FACTORY PIONEER WARRANTY?????

Or is it one of those warranties that a dealer will throw on there?

I'm not trying to be a hard ass here....but I belong to a forum where I 've seen the grief of buying from unauthorized dealers. You just need to ask your dealer if he's authorized by Pioneer. You can also double check on Pioneer's website. I'm really trying to help you out here.....

The dealer isnt authorized by pioneer, BUT he is offering the same exact warranty that pioneer offers.

so if your unit malfunctions or something, you'll get a replacement from this dealer just like you would straight from pioneer.

Just out of curiosity... Does the dealer you buying from have a website? I know you said you cant post it up in here, but I would recommend you check this site: http://www.resellerratings.com If it is a site where they sell to the general public, then there should be some reviews on them.

I was recently in the market for a Canon Digital Rebel XT, and found a group buy on a photo forum. Same exact thing, were dealer would offer their warranty over canon's.. Turns out the people who run the company are a$$holes and have cheated nearly every person who bothered to post a review on that site.

Just a heads up, I'm not trying to bash your group buy.. just looking out for fellow AZ members. Good luck with the buy!

You'll end up paying more if you buy the unit by itself, since its only a $50 difference, so I'd recommend you go with this combo, and just sell off whatever you dont need for an extra profit.

and to CaliChris517:

this person that I'm buying from has a 99.3% feedback on ebay, and has almost 22,000 feedback, so you can trust my dealer.

I'm moving this to 2G TL at the request of Gamezilla. Maybe he will have a better chance of getting some interest there since most of the 3G people that want navi already have it.

So it "retails" for $2200... I can purchase it from a dozen places online for around $1600 (some cheaper). And I don't care about blue tooth or iPod. If I did, I guess this would be an OK deal. If it was more like $1000 I'd jump on it.

come on people, this is a great deal, and you still get a 1 year warranty from the seller just like you do from pioneer.

if any of you guys know anybody thats not a member of this forum, and they are interested in the Z1, then please let them know about this deal.
