Ground Wires

since summer began i am thinking about doing some minor mods on my car. Im not really looking foward to doin major mods like pulley, headers, etc. and I thought that the ground wires would be a cheap and cool mod to do. I searched on eBay and found some but the only brand name I saw was Arospeed. Does anyone know if brand really matters on these, if it does what is a good brand?

Take a look at local parts store for similar item and read the specs, then check your other source for same info.
Better grounding helps with hi power amps and the ground strap that goes to the road like semi-trucks have-, a real bonus in winter to avoid getting zapped all the time on the door handle

buy some 4ga wires at autozone and cut them to length, keeping one end that has a terminal to connect to the frame and to the chassis. Then buy some good battery terminals. I bought some nice tsunami gold plated terminals at autozone for 25.00 for the pair. They look real sharp and are screw down terminals for a stronger connection.

I agree, just look at the ones you are wanting to replace - measure with your eyes and add some then buy some quality 4 guage wire and the proper amount of terminals. the "kits" you buy are way overpriced and really do not do much anyway, so if you are going to do this - just make your own wires.

Where have you been? I haven't seen you post much over the last 6 months.

I got a set for my Legend from here, http://store.newlevelmotorsports.com/unskitformov.html
really good quality and looks awesome, not to mention work GREAT!!!! The ebay grounding wire kits SUCK. I purchased some for my Supra and when I got them, what a load of crap, all I can say is, you get what you pay for. As far as the SUN grounding kits, they actually make a big difference. I may add some to my TL. Hope this helps.

I used EFX 4 gauge wires for my ground wires. Complete DIY. Also already have EFX Chrome Terminals for stronger connection.

Most ppl use 8 gauge, and that's fine too...
