There are 2 kinds at this site, 1 to be used with koni shocks and 1 for stocks...
what happens if i get the one for stock shox and my stock shox run out?...
what do u guys think about these coilovers?...
i wanna be able to raise it back up for winter, and during summer and on speciall occasions, slam it!

I just installed Ground Controls yesterday. After reading countless threads on this site on all the options, and talking with the people at Ground Control, I decided that was the only way to get what I wanted in terms of both the exact ride height I was after, and the proper spring rate. Other options were Comptech and H&R OE Sports (not regular sports, too much drop in the front for my tastes).
The standard Ground Control kit comes with 450 lb/in springs for the front versus 260 lb/in for the stock units. This corroborates some comments I found in the archives about them being pretty stiff. My goal was a SMALL increase in stiffness to help reduce the brake dive, improve turn-in, flatten cornering a bit, and generally firm it up, but WITHOUT making it harsh. Stock spring rates are 260 and 150 lb/in front and rear respectively. I ordered Ground Controls with 300 front and 175 rear targeting a 15% increase in spring rate.
I've only driven on them a few miles now but these springs seem PERFECT. Brake dive is noticeably reduced, it definitely corners flatter, turn-in is noticeably crisper, and the modest increase in firmness feels good. I adjusted them for a 1 1/8" drop in front and 7/8" drop in back which now looks perfect. If I get motivated I might micro-tweak it just a bit and drop it anothr 1/8" at both ends. I have access to a set of digital four wheel race car scales and I'll probably corner balance it as well. I'll wait a couple of weeks before doing any of this to let things settle if they are going to.
I was going to post a more comprehensive report on this, but saw your question. Bottom line, I recommend Ground Control as an excellent way to get exactly what you want.

I have the ground controls and I love them. I'm about to get some taller springs so that I can have about a .75" drop. Having a Value body kit lowers the car. Ride is smooth. Forgot my spring rate though. I think like 380 or something like that for the front.
