Greetings!
I've been reading through this forum and all I have to say is that it's a wealth of information. I just wish I knew about this forum when I purchased my first TL. Unfortunetly my first post will be asking for advice.
I just purchased NBP 3.2 Type S with 88K miles. I didn't even know about the transmission recall until I hit this forum. I talked to Acura about the tranmission warranty and they said that if the car drives ok than it's fine. My question is:
1. If my car drives fine, should I make an appointment with Acura to have the transmission checked out any way?
2. The backlight on my climate control/clock is out. At night, the temp control only lights on if I turn on the air and the clock does not light up. Is there a fuse I can change or has anyone experienced the same problem?
Thanks in advance. I will post pics soon.

Welcome to the forum
It helps if you state what year your car is- the trans warranty and other issues revolve around VIN numbers
Also go to www.acura.com owner link and register there for free
Lots of good info plus your cars warranty history
If you are experiencing any of the listed trans failure sysmtoms, then get it to the dealer.
If you have no symptoms- drive and enjoy
They are not giving the replacements out just because you want one!
Enjoy your fine new ride as we all do!!!
