got a tip stolen!!!
So I went out ot my car this afternoon and noticed that someone had stolen my driver's side exhaust tip...I am fuming!!! It was there earlier and they had obviously went ahead and took it apart while my car was sitting in the parking lot. Now I have to find some new tips as the imbalance is visually driving me mad! Other than 3A racing tips, are there any other ones relatively close to OEM? Or would the cheapest ones be OEM?

well, I didn't SEE someone steal it, but I had it in our apartment parking lot and I was out there showing my buddy my tips because he had asked why are they so black at the bottom. So RIGHT before they disappeared I had inspected them and showed it to him and saw how tightly they were bolted on. I went inside and less than one hour later, I came out and the tip was gone, nut, bolt, tip and all. It was obvious someone didn't pull it straight off as there were no scratch marks, it was very cleanly removed...I suspect I know who took it too, but I don't want to point fingers unless I know...there's a ricer in the same lot of a 2nd gen accord and I have seen him and his friends standing around my car inspecting it (I happened to see them crowding my car while I was in the can and looked out the window....
But looks like 3A tips seem to be the general suggestion...I will go and take a look at some tips at a napa or target something today...I don't suppose anyone has pics of different tips? I have seen a few using the search function, but they seem to be one brand of tips and they all stick out from under the bumper...any other pics that I may have missed?

Damn, you should go to their car and spray their tips bright red, so they know what's up. Make sure it's your tip on their first though. I lived in a complex with a bunch of ricers and they all drove like assholes through it, even when ppl had their kids outside playing.

seriously...all the tl haters in the area...hahaha...ksuchdeve, they don't play with their kids in the street, but the complex I am at does have families with kids who are sleeping at 10pm and their windows are right next to the parking lot (I know as I am one of those families with my kid's bedroom right next to the parking lot). 10pm with these ricers around revving their engines and blasting music right next to all these kids' bedrooms is really inconsiderate. Cops have been called and all they ever do is come around and tell them to keep it down...sucks..

3A tips FTW! $12, lol.
They would probably like it. It would be the new fad.

hahaha...well there may be someone offering me oem tips on this board...if they're fair I'll take him up on it but seems like 3A tips are FTW! Are they 12 a piece I assume? do they look similar to the OEM? Would I have to ge a pair or do they look pretty close to matching?

You'd have to get a pair. They are A LOT bigger. (Longer & wider) The OEM's are so puny. Once you go 3A, you never go back. <--Only forward... to a new exhaust...
I think I had mine for like 6 months, maybe? Always kept the clean and polished. Not a blemish on them when I took them off a few months ago to put on my Comptechs. Best $14 I spent on the car, lol. (I got them when they were on sale for $7 a piece! Yes, $7. And they looked just as nice as the $50 Borla tips. Thank you AcuraZine!)

Just get the 3A tips. they are a rolled tip design, and look much better than any of the oem tips.
