I just got home and my heart is still beating fast. So i'm stting at a light. I have a new 325ci behind me and a civic hatch next to me with intake and exaust from what i could tell. The light goes green. The civic hits the gas and i see, so i gun for him. As soon as i hit v tec in 1st it was over. But to my surprise the Bimmer behind me was waiting for me to pass the civic so we can play. So i gunned it. We were going straight and i had it in sport shift. I kept going and there was another red light. So i have the bimmer next to me and the civic gave up. The light turns green. Traction off, i spin a lil but cath on and bounce. We were dead even then i hit v tec and started pulling. Once i was in second gear and v tec it was his nose to my a$$. Then i just kept pulling hard till about 80 when he hit the flashers. I slowed down and so did he. We rolled down our windows, and he was like yo, i thought i was gonna kill you, i said me too. He was like you that $hit is sick, i said yeah your's is too. We both said be safe and just kept driving. Real cool experience for me. BTW i have a 99

correect me if im wrong, i think performance wise the TL compares to the 330 more than the 325. all i remember off the top of my head is that the 325 has 184hp and 175 torque while the 330 has 225hp and 214 torque.

i went to the local street race tonight. it was off da hook. i raced a v6 accord and spanked him by like 2 car lenghts. we got back to the meet and he came over and talked to me. he was a pretty cool guy. I like it when people are good sports and can take it when you beat them

 

The 325 should not give us a problem. It's the 330 that we have to be careful with.
BTW, good kill! It's even better when the other guy is a good sport about it.

i raced an old bodystyle 328is manual about 2 months ago. he had intake and exhaust from what i could tell. he also had a monster tach mounted on the dash with a shiftlight. interesting. we raced from about 50-120 and i got him by about 1 1/2 car lengths. it was fun. never seen a bimmer with a monster tach, though.

 

our TL will kick 325's a$$!! But if a stick 325, i think it should be pretty even.. coz they can do 0-60 in like 7.1 sec. and auto is one full second slower ...

and, if the street is like curved and with lotta hard coners.. then.. we might lose... coz BMW drive as if they r on track...
