Thumbs up Got some cheap high beams... turned out pretty nice tho!

I snatched these "xenon plasma" bulbs off http://autolumination.com/headlights.htm for just $4.99 a pop and didn't expect them to be all that great... but turned out pretty nice & white! Light output-wise, probably not as wide and bright as the stock high beams... but hey I ain't complaining! They look better than the yellowish-ness esp at night.

Thought I should tell you guys since they are so cheap

btw our car uses 9005 bulb for high beam

Here are some pics:

looks good when lit. for some reason though, i dont really like the way it looks in the day head on because the blue bulb makes the whole high beam housing blue and kinda looks cheap to me imo. i had some 'nokya' cheapos too before and they did that. maybe yours are better. looks nice though!

Just beware of melting wire harnesses with these cheapo bulbs. Usually these bulbs run at a higher wattage as well.

thx for the warning... i've checked, these bulbs run 50 watts each so its just about same as stock.

all you have to do is twist-off the harness & bulb from the headlight housing, unplug teh stock one, and plug the new one in. really simple

Agree 100%...happened to me when I put them in my Legend...short life span as well, as compared to name brand. Both of my comments are with respect to the 9006's (low beams). My replacement high beams have held up very well with no problems.

Hey goodnews, They are going to warrantee the bulb and send me a new one minus the shipping and handeling charge. So I guess I would recomend them again. And real good customer service and speedy replies.

I know, I was searching on how to replace the driver's side highbeam lamp and I ran into this thread, these bulbs look perfect for my replacement and they're also cheap so I might get them
