Today, i installed my aem short ram...and it sounds soooooo good!!!! i love that roar when you floor it and that sucking sound when you first step on the gas. Installation was really quick, took about 10 mintutes to install. Does taking out my resonator give a louder roar?

 

taking out the resonator does make the intake louder since it doesn't slow down the air flow.

you'll only notice at VTEC range though.

 

Yeah, thats great stuff. You will be flooring your car everywhere just to hear the roar LOL, my gas mileage started sucking badly because of my infatuation with the WOT roar!!!

 

i know...lost 1/4 tanks of gas in one day

 

how many miles do u guys get a to a full tank?? i average about 200 and i havea 2003 tl-s. is that normal? my brohas a 99tl with bags and he gets like 300 so im there like what the fu*k. and i dont floor it.... that much.

 

Where in Miami are you located and what else does your brother have done to his TL other than bags........I am in Miami also and I haven't seen any 99 TL's on bags only a first gen on bags with chrome 19's

 

im in the kendall/westchester area. his tl actualyl has air pistons... he did them with Perfect-A-Car. he also has a system, mids and highs, etc. and he's rolling on 17inch type-s stocks. its dark blue.

also, if u go to the hangouts at 107 and 8 street... u might catch him there every once in a while.

 

I remember a while back my brothers friend called him and said that there was a tl at perfect a car and the guy was buying pistons.......I go to the races every now and then usually see stock TL's there
