Just got my entire seat back leather piece on the driver side replaced because of a small crack on the bottom left of the seat back. All done under warrenty, no charge, no questions asked.

Only thing is now the seat looks funny because its not worn in yet.

word! u need to fill me in. how many miles on that TL? where's it stated in the warranty? my TL's 99 preowned certified. got last yr. stuff's already cracking on the same spot.

99 TL..same problem. Replaced under warranty.

 

Yea. Near the bottom on the very left hand side. There was a crease in the leather that was cracked. It was sorta turning white. And there was a small tear in the vinyl right next to it. It wasnt like a complete tear, but a small portion of the top layer (the actual colored) portion was sort of sliced off and was hanging on by a bit.

My car is a 2000 and I have 32,000 miles on it. I purchased mine certified used also. They asked me if it was like that when I bought it and I said no. So they said they were going to go ahead and get a new seat back leather. Took a couple of days to get the parts in.
