Got pulled over last night

Okay I got pulled over because my left rear brake light is out. What is the part number for the rear left brake light? Can I get this at autozone? Oh yeah I need to know how you put it in. Do you remove the tail lights?

Dare_IL is correct. Just unscrew the big plastic knob, then just pull the liner out to access the bulb. Turn the bulb clockwise, I think, and remove it.

I was once told to never touch the bulbs with your bare hands...wear gloves..because the oils in your hands, that get on the bulbs, could cause it to burn out faster....Don't know if its true or an old wise tale.

for halogen bulbs it is true... but not for our regular tail light bulbs.. they don't get hot enough to boil the oil like the halogens do..
