second time this month, once march 17 for going 90 in a 40 area, but cop let me off seeing my b day was on da 18th so thank god for that lol and today at 10 for no plate in the front, after 3 years he thought i was involved ina shooting is what he said, so now i gotta go buy the bracket oh well guess i was gonna get it sooner or later and he gave me a fix it ticket, FIRST EVER before theyd jus tell me to do it and id do it becuase if the cop trusted me enuff to jus say it and i promised, so id do it but now i gotta get it signed but luckily he didnt say nothign bout my turn signals i didnt use em cus he was there

Mine and my wife's USAA insurance recently went up 81% because of three speeding tickets we've received over the past three years. If that's not sobering enough, I don't know what is.

 

i kno, i thought i was done, but the cop my license and insurance went to his car for a good 5 minutes, i was like im screwed i guess, but then he came and goes heres what, im going to let you of with a warning so slow it down if someone wants to race let them get the ticket, not you i kno when you have a nice car you wanna got at it with people but hes liek its not worth it, i was liek ok sorry officer and thank you, i was liek oh man THANK GOD lol, but lately theirs been alot of cops and there going undercover i seen a souped up civic tongith also so nwo i kno for a fact, no more messing around and trust me since then ive been going slow loll.

That suck, It`s not about this 190$ but f ing incurance going up.

you lucked out, I got jacked for $250 bux, a 45 in a 25 zone I when I was only doin 30. The cops said "You were doin 40 to catch up to you so I'm writing you down for 45" How the hell does that make any sense, I woulda fought the ticket if I wasn't workin 40hrs a week at the time.

Anybody going 90 in a 40 should be behind bars. Maybe if you had kids you would understand. The cop should be suspended for not towing your rig and throwing your ass in jail. 50mph over the speed limit on the freeway is one thing, 50mph over on a city street is insane. I know you own a Acura but that does not excuse you from being totally wrong in this situation. My only hope is that you learn from this and realize how lucky you were. When I mean lucky I don't mean that you did not get a ticket, I mean that you did not kill yourself or somebody else. They have race tracks that let you go out drive as fast as you want in a controlled atmosphere.

is it legal to just put your license plate on the dashboard right up to the window?

I don't get it..if it's illegal to not have a license plate in the front..thne why are all the exotic cars or sport cars getting away with it? I have never seen a front plate on corvettes or lambos ever.

Maybe I'm old for my age, but I can't imagine 50 over. That should be jailtime. I think about people I love in a car on a 40mph street where an Acura TL is speeding at 90mph their way.

I believe it. I was doin double the speed limit last summer when I got pulled over. I only got a $75 dollar ticket with no points to my license. The cop was real cool about it, sometimes people just luck out

 

Yeah I'm going to agree, I don't know if it is believable that you can be doing 225% of the speed limit and just get off with a warning.
