I have had my 2001 WDP since Jan 22nd 2001. I was thinking of getting a new car. But right now its not worth it and I rather save money.

My front bumper has many rock chips and the paint is peeling. My hood also has plenty of paint chips to.

So I got a quote for $437.48, now this is what it includes.

Painting the and bumper and blending the paint into the fenders. Also painting the whole rear bumper to, the rear becasue I someone hit me and didnt damage it but took alot of the paint off.

The body shop is called Electrobake in Ocala Fl. I asked about orange peel and he said that wont be a problem. He told me he was going to wet sand down and then start painting.

thats a pretty good price for both bumpers and fender blending, IMO. its always tricky to get whites and silver perfect

Well the price is very reasonable. Were you able to check out some of their work on other cars?

He showed me his Impala that he did 2 years before. It was pretty damn good, but then again it was black so it had no pearl effect. I am going to go talk to the acura body shop, and see what they say..

Also the quote also includes fixing the bumper, because a tow hitch hit me and it need to be bondoed up.

That's a great idea. You'll want to be sure before you commit to the work. A bad paint job can look worse than no paint job.

If its a $100 to $125 differ I might get it dont at acura, I seen the work they do all the time, I have a dumbass friend who like to wreck his TSX a lot. They fixed it up and cant even tell a differ.

be careful wdp is a bitch to match, go to a reputable place that can guarantee a close match, might cost you more

01 came with WDP? i thought it was taffeta white and WDP was available for 02+ only

I think 2000 also came in WDP

Good price. I got my hood painted by a friend he charged 300 just for painting and adding a clear coat. I don't think it makes a deference that it was on my bmw vs the TL.

Taffeta White only came on the 99.

Sounds like a good deal to me. It was smart to check the work he's done in the past...assuming that he did do the work he said he did.

99 was the only year WDP and TW were available like Napsoner said

Sounds like you got a good deal. I had to replace my hood and front bumper due to a hit and run several months ago, and the paint alone for those two was around $500

I got a quote of 700 to paint my Driving side door, Fender and front Bumper from a really Reputable shop called Wayside Autoboy on Queens BLVD (Newyork) im assuming u got a good deal!
