ACURA 3.2tl 2k

I think i might be paranoid but the day i got my new transmission in i relised that the same slight jerking was occuring when i took my foot off the accelorator... is this normal.. i mean.. i am so worried that my car is just screwed... Please help.. also the dealer who is a hour anda half away cracked my wheel liner thingy.. now it flops a lil GRRRR

Ever since my tranny was replaced, the car never feel the same. It jerks around once in a while on mine car too. Take it easy on break in period. It might be better after you put on a couple of thousand miles.

I thought the jerky thing is from the torque converter. Is this something that happens when you drive and let go of the gas pedal? Sometimes if the car is crusing and your going up or down the hill, there tends to be some jerkiness I think.

put the car is SS, leave it in 2nd and take it up to 40. let off and then hit the gas again a few times.. especially on hills. is this the slight jerkiness you're talking about? if so, that's normal.. it'll do it on any manual car too

OH **** theres a break in period on the new transmission.. the mechanic said there wasnt since it isnt a "new transmission... just rebuilt.

The dealer said.. there wasnt a break in period, so about 200 miles later i pass 4 cars and hit like 95 BUT HE SAID IT WAS OK dealers are out to get u
