Smile Got New Pads&Rotors Free Under Warranty From Acura

I got new front pads& rotors under warranty from dealership.
I went in for my 15K service Wednesday I told them that I was still having the brake vibration when slowing from high speeds. I had them look at it before at the last service. This time they Replaced Front Rotors & Pads under Warranty. I had 15,105 miles on my 19 month old car when I took it in for service. I also had them replace A/C Filters & Air Cleaner Element . they also fixed the center armrest that would not latch & fly up it also had 4 missing screws that I never saw in console. They replaced that & instaled screws under warranty. The pop from drivers seat could not be duplicated as it only did it once 2 months ago but it is on record. My total cost was $289.46 the A/C Filters parts are $27.00 & the labor to install was $78.00 The other cost is as follows SGT FUEL TREAT $11.70, MOA OIL TREAT $10.80, Brake Cleaner $5.35, Oil Filter $4.99, CASTROL 5W30 $7.95 Air Cleaner Element $28.25 If I had not replaced 2 A/C Filters the bill would have been better. The owners manual does call for this at 2yrs & my car will be 2 in Dec. Iam glad to have my TL back at home after 2 days. They gave me a 2001 Integra loaner car but I felt bumps.

Your lucky they replaced your brakes and rotors for free because I think brakes are covered for 12K miles.

When I took it in for this the 1st time the car had about 11,500 miles. They told me to bring it back if I still had the problem & that it was on record.

It doesn't matter the first time I took my car for warpped rotors was at 22k miles, they told I had to pay for it, I'm like no, how are the rotors warpped and I still have more than 60% life on the pads, they said well blah blah blah. Then I took it back on 25k miles and they re-surface the rotors for free. Then they got warped again at 45k miles and they get me 2 new crossdrilled rotors at cost with free installation and free pads.

The reason they are replacing the pads is because ACURA thinks the pads were causing the rotors to warpped. The pads are the ones that have 12k miles warranty not the rotors.
