Got a new 2003 TL S

Just wanted to introduce myself and say hi. I have been browsing this board for several weeks and finally pulled the trigger yesterday on a 2003 TL S in Anthracite Metalic. I pick it up tonight

cool..!!! here at work there is a 02 anthracite tlp and it looks very bad parked next to my dropped tls...!

i wish the 02 came in that color, ugh

Are they selling it already in Feb? The '02 ones didn't come out until March last year. Anyway, congrats and enjoy (and welcome aboard.)

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I am very excited about getting this car. Especially since I currently drive a Camry (oh the horror !!!) . I was into cars when I was younger and had a Mustang GT that I modified. But this is my first sporty car since then.

I wish I could post pics but I do not own a digital camera. I am pretty good about keeping up with technology and am also a big Home Theater nut but just never bought a digital camera. Maybe I can borrow one from a friend?

Systek, where in Austin do you work? I ask because our parking garage has an anthracite TL-P and a black TL-S. I work at Vignette in Barton Skyway II. Are you at Vignette or Landmark Graphics or is this just a coeenkeedeenk?

Wow, 2003TLS? Good for you. I am thinking of getting one of those myself sometime on April. If you don't mind, can you tell me how much did you spend on the new TLS?

price

I actually leased the car and they took $500 off the MSRP. I did not push them real hard because I got an itch for a new toy and didn't feel like haggling over another $500. The sales consultant was very knowledgeable I was happy with the experience, so far.

I picked it up tonight and already had a blast driving it around. A Japanase rice burner civic already challenged me and I knew I couldn't hot dog in a new car but left him in the dust without even trying. YIPPEE!!!
