Got my TL-S back with new tranny.

Got my TL-S back this evening.

Had a New Tranny Put in, ECU replaced with the tranny replaced the front engine mount and the dealers offered to clean the fuel induction system for free.

Cars driving really smooth and the gear shifts are nice and tight.

Now I can get back to putting on my Mugen spoiler and Sarona Roof spoiler.

Congrats..have you abused the tranny a little bit yet? I hear there is a difference in performance with the other trannies.

Nope,

Just drove it lightly to the market and then to a gas station to fill up. I used sports shift a bit, just to check how fast the response is. The gears shift immediatley when I tap up and down. Before, it'd have a 1-2 second delay before shifting.

I figure I'll drive slowly for now and I'll take it for a spirited drive when I get my mods put back in. It was a pain in the ass removing I/H/P/E.

Do you know what's your car manufactor date?

How many miles did you have before your tranny went out?

^^^ Dunno, manufactured date.

Approx 65k before tranny went out. About 10k after I put on Intake and headers

As for the mugen.. it's not the TL mugen spoiler.. its a BB4 mugen spoiler.. stay tuned...

That's what mine does, I thought that was normal. Is that true of anyone with new trannies, that the delay has gone away?

Mine is personally pretty quick... 44k.

Mine does that as well (delay while in sport shift mode). I'm guessing it's the ecu checking to ensure RPM and chosen gear is correct.
