Got my car today!
Made up my mind today and went and leased a 2002 TL-S. Finally decided on the aegean blue pearl after some deliberation, the color just keeps growing on me and looks stunning in different types of light. Drove the car around all evening (slowly ... damn break in) and it seems so much more impressive than on numerous test drives. Being an ex-VW owner I hope the car proves more reliable than VW junk. Also, love that engine, but just can't wait to be able to hear that VTEC sound.

Congrats!
I'm sure you'll love it! I'm in the market also, and have been deliberating the color as well, but have finally decided on the ABP for the same reasons you did. I love the way it keeps changing rich colors. I have a lot of people to thank on this board who assured me that if I liked it initially, I would only grow fonder of it with time. NOW I'm deliberating whether or not I should pop for the 2003 or find a good deal on the 2002? I'm buying through a credit union "Autoland" broker who does the haggling for me. They work with fleet discount dealers from all over the area and usually come up with the best deal. I put in my request yesterday and am waiting for the broker's findings. I told him to get prices for both model years. He said that he would do his best to compare the options. He made the point that I may want to pay $900 more in the beginning for a 2003 to offset the $1,800 that I would lose as soon as I drove a 2002 off of the lot???? Who knows who's correct with their logic? I'll have to wait and see what prices and availablity he comes up with... I hope it's soon!

Here's something else to keep in mind: If you're buying, how long do you intend to keep it? If you're only going to get it for a few years, consider the fact that getting an '02 will divide your yearly mileage alot better than if you get an '03.
