regarding the 03 S Type I just got, there are a few things I was wondering about:

-Turning radius. It seems really big! I usually drive a GMC crew cab truck, but its got quad steering so it turns like a Honda civic. I would think thats whats making me feel like the Acura doesn't turn sharp enough, but I also drive my wifes 06 odyssey van too, and it turns sharper. There isn't any damage that I can find so it all appears normal, just wondering if anyone else thought this.

-Is there supposed to be a wind deflector that pops up when the roof is opened? All factory roofs I've had have had a small one that is spring-loaded and comes up, but the Acura does not. It doesn't appear that there is anything wrong so maybe that's how they all are?

-A few seconds after startup, theres a sound similar to a cell phone ringing on vibrate that seems to originate from the firewall or under the car?? Some kind of motor or pump maybe? It always does it right after starting, I think even twice, but then not again until next startup so it seems normal, but if someone knows what this is I'd love to know!

 

The Turning Radius is Normal the TL is a Big Car and In city it feels like a Town Car or an Old Buick, Is in High Speed when the Steering Radius feels alot Sharper.

Nope the TL doesnt come up with a Stock Deflector that needs to be bought and its fixed.

That is the ABS pump self Checking it is Normal.

the ABS self test at 5 and 15 mph as you first begin forward motion
small thump thump will be heard

get familiar with TCS/ other traction control and ABS brake system operation,,before winter~

 

awesome, thanks. I've got all the manuals, but must have missed that. Unfortunately winter here is no different than summer so no problem there!
