I can't blame anyone who owned a 2001 - 2003 TL/CL from shying away from Acura for a while.
I will say that Acura service is light years ahead of any other auto company I've experienced. I mean its not even close.
However, our TL/CL's are cost reduced to the point of frustration. All in all, they are pretty cheap cars, and I don't mean inexpensive.
I don't mind so much when my tranny lasts less than a year, and the window trim has to be replaced twice - while the car is in warranty. But this is the first car I need to sell before the warranty expires. That is not a good feeling, and I'm not looking forward to putting myself back into this situation on my next car.
Still, I'll miss the free loaner car whenever I need to go into the shop.

Goodbye G35
Hello E55 AMG
no regrets
Seriously though, we did have a G35 for a few days. We were considering one and just RENTED one from Hertz for a week. Sure beats a test drive. But in the end, the G35 wasn't really a step up or a step down from the TLS. So the E55 won See you in my rearview mirrors, chief.

G35 over TL? Why? Your interior is crap...and you won't look as good in traffic as the TL
Why get the AMG? You'll be stuck in traffic with the rest of us and the TL will still look better than the grandpa looking M-B.... :fingerfawk:

Good luck with your G35, friend of mine has a G35 Coupe w. 6 speed. If you think Acura was bad, Inifinity's 6 speed is the worst. My friend dosent even have 10k on his car and is on his 3rd tranny.
Overall the car looks great, have fun

The G35 sedan looks like crap.
The coupe is nice but the big complaint is vibrations on the shifter - i can confirm this from a test drive.
I'd rather have the new Legacy GT than the G35X.
But with Acura about to release AWD, I'm gonna wait a couple of years to see what yummy options are available.
E55 drool...it's THE hottest car on the road period ...but I'm too practical to spend that kinda money on a car...

E55 is NOT the hottest car on the raod. What about the AUDI RS6? This thing will destroy the AMG in 0-60 and twisty stuff. AWD baby !
