Goodbye thread

Well, sold my 02 Tl Type S yesterday with 90k on it. The buyers came out and it was love at first sight for them. Said my Tl is the cleanest on craigslist. It was fun owning a type s. I dont know what i will get next, any recommendations for around 20k?

Goodbye ! ....come back soon.

Sounds like you had a pretty sweet TL, but all things must move on in life.

I'm unsure if you have your heart set on another sport sedan or not. But with 20k in hand, you should be able to cherry pick a nice low mileage three year old car that suits your fancy. You'll have saved nearly half the price of a brand new car and get newer styling along with all the advanced technology.

It's all about what inspires your heart, so compare and research a few of your favorites. Enjoy the new ride and have fun ! The newer TL's don't really thrill me personally, but they are worth comparing to other makes such as Infinity, Lexus, and BMW which are all on the same playing field. Cadillac and Chrysler may be worth a glance.

Then again, you may fall for the something in the sport utility line ! If you have a second vehicle, take your time with the "test drives". Good luck !

What will 20k buy...............?

A BMW M5 could be purchased for around 20k, but you would be looking at a car near 10 years old and over 100k on the dial. Classy and unique automobiles !

The import luxury sport sedans hold their value very well as they age. However, you're getting a well engineered drive-train and body design. They are usually maintained professionally on schedule.

Comparing a 5-10 year old import sedan with what 20k will buy you in a new car ......is like comparing night and day ! The best you could do with 20k in buying a new car is the compact econo-boxes with their generic throwaway appeal. ***(BORING)***

Ahhhh E30 M3's, how so few understanding the awesomeness of this car.

20K can get you a Skyline, Supra, FD RX7, a 500+HP S2000, STI, etc in the useless fun category, among many more.

Need to know what you're wanting out of a car before we can give you realistic suggestions.
