Unhappy Goodbye to all my TL Family

Well guys and gals of the TL Family. This Friday night here in Atlanta on 285 east is where it happened. I was driving home from work about 9:00pm and it was raining. There were not to many people on the road. Well 285 has four lanes and I was in the second lane from the median. Well, I was going about 70 to 75 when this guy came from no where and cut accross in front of me. He passed me like I was standing still. I hit the brakes and hydroplained straight into the median and spined accross the lanes into the grass and bushes. Well, the good part is I am fine but my baby is gone. I think the insurance company is going to total it. I may or may not get another one. I don't know. What's the worst part is that I did not have my cell phone on me and I waited for 30 to 40 minutes for some to stop but guess what? no one did. I car still runs so I drove it home. Well, I love this forum and still have another TL which my sister drives so I will be posting and reading here like alway. I read more than post. HEE HEE. Well, I am going to take all my saved money for the mod's which I was going to do and put it on a downpayment on another TLP or the TLS I really don't know. It really depends on the insurance company. Sorry for the long post.

Damn, sorry to hear that. The main thing is that you are ok. Cars can be replaced, people cannot.

Well Yes I was able to drive it back. The only things is I have a lot of body damage. All my airbags deployed. My hood is bent, bumper on bodsides. I wish I had a digital camera so I can post pictures. The insurance company has not yet looked at it. I will post updates.

I had a guy blow out in front of me, he had just pasted me like I was standing still and I was doing your unofficial speed limit of 80 mph so I know you guys have some crazy drivers but I am glad your ok the car can be replaced

It's a lot easier (and less painful) to work on sheet metal than tissue and organ. Glad that you made it out!!!

I'm sorry to hear about your accident, can't beleive no one stopped to help you out

Make sure to ask your ins. company to compensate you for the loss in resale value. As someone pointed out earlier, look at the brighter side of things .... perfect time to upgrade to a TLS
