Exclamation Goodbye acurazine

well my 03tls ALMOST took a dump on me .. the acura warrantied replacement tranny was almost gonna go out on me (again) .. i took it to a shop and i was quoted 3700 .. PLUS, i needed tires, timing belt, brakes, PS leak, missing cylinders which was totaled at 4300 ..
SOOO the owner of the shop told me i needed to get rid of it ASAP if i didnt want it .. he told me to park it overnight at the dealership and let them test drive it cold so it will shift right .. I did and they gave me 5200 and the car had 172,000 miles .. i miss it but I have finally decided to moved on . . . . . .

I JUST WANNA SAY THANKS FOR THE HELP AND I WISH YOU ALL THE BEST WITH YOUR TL'S!!

This is what i eneded up buying .. 2013 535i M-Sport.

Nice car, but if u thought the TL was expensive to maintain, just you wait. My buddy who drives a 535 also is ALWAYS crying about something breaking or going out and the price to fix it. Hope you're ready for a battery change to cost hundreds!!

Leasing is the best way to go with these types of cars. Plus no charge maintenance right? Love it

I was glad to see my 2001 CL go after 5 or 6 transmissions.
Wonder how much this design defect cost Acura over so many years ?

Acura will most definitely lose a lot of potential customers due to their flawed tranny's.
